    Is a natural wonder of blue, wind-tossed waters set against a backdrop of three volcanoes, Toliman, Atitlan, and San Pedro. When English novelist Aldous Huxley visited Guatemala, he referred to Lago Atitlan as the most beautiful lake in the world.

  • TIKAL RUINS

    Park Hidden by the dense jungle until the 19th century. Tikal is a monumental site with towering pyramids looming out of the thick jungle like stoic sentinels guarding ancient mysteries.




  • SEMUC CHAMPEY

    Is located 11km to the south of Lanquin (the town), in a valley with steep walls, surrounded by tropical humid forest. There is a 300m long limestone bridge, on top of which there are several natural pools of different sizes filled with crystalline mountain spring water.

    Pacaya volcano near Guatemala City is one of Guatemala's most active volcanoes, and its frequent eruptions are often visible from Guatemala City.





  • RUINS OF QUIRIGUA

    The ruins of Quirigua contain some outstanding 8th-century monuments and an impressive series of carved stelae and sculpted calendars that constitute an essential source for the study of Mayan civilization.
